EN-POWER GROUP is participating in a New York–led regional clean energy hydrogen hub, supporting the advancement of clean hydrogen infrastructure, fuel cell innovation, and long-term decarbonization goals across the Northeast.
Context: Building a Regional Hydrogen Ecosystem
New York State recently announced a multi-state agreement to develop a regional clean energy hydrogen hub in partnership with major hydrogen ecosystem stakeholders. The initiative brings together a New York–led consortium, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, to accelerate research, development, and deployment of clean hydrogen technologies.
The effort aligns with New York’s broader climate objectives, including its goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 85 percent by 2050.
EN-POWER GROUP’s Role
In partnership with Daroga Power, EN-POWER GROUP is supporting the development of one of the regional clean energy hydrogen hubs. The work focuses on advancing hydrogen and fuel cell solutions that can play a role in decarbonizing energy systems and supporting resilient, low-carbon infrastructure.
Through this collaboration, EN-POWER GROUP contributes technical expertise in energy infrastructure, system planning, and implementation strategies that support the scalable deployment of clean hydrogen technologies.
Why This Matters for the Energy Transition
Clean hydrogen is increasingly viewed as a critical tool for reducing emissions in sectors that are difficult to electrify, including certain industrial processes and long-duration energy storage applications.
Participation in a regional hydrogen hub positions EN-POWER GROUP at the forefront of emerging clean energy pathways, supporting innovation that complements electrification, renewable energy, and efficiency strategies already underway across the region.
